POSITION SUMMARY
The Mobile Therapy Clinician will provide weekly individual therapy to clients diagnosed with Moderate to Severe Mental Health Diagnosis, while collaborating with both internal and external treatment team members that involve Program Managers, Residential Counselors, and behavioral health county case managers and clinicians.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel to assigned clients place of residence (board-n-care, independent living, and/or adult mental health locked/unlocked facility • Manage caseload of at least 12-25 clients providing weekly individual therapy services to adults and seniors who are conserved and diagnosed with a moderate to severe mental illness.
- Meet with all clients on caseload at least once per week and additional sessions as needed based on clinical assessment of clients need.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on Cal -Aim and Department of Health Care standards, and based on clinical experience, and knowledge.
- Facilitate weekly Group Therapy sessions with assigned clients in the facility.
- Complete progress notes for all assigned clients based on individual sessions, group sessions, crisis intervention, as well as any interaction warranting clinical intervention.
- Complete Comprehensive Initial Assessments, Diagnosis and Treatment Plans for all newly assigned clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of one year experience providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to a full range of individuals from youth through adulthood.
- Must be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an AMFT and/or ACSW.
- Possess or willing to acquire professional liability insurance.
- AMFT, ACSW, APCC and/or LMFT, LCSW, LPCC
- Understanding of psychiatric illness and treatment
- A student intern in an approved program working towards gaining clinical hours or working towards registry with BBS (Board of Behavioral Health and Sciences).
- Medi-Cal Billing experience preferred but not required.
- CCL approved FBI and DOJ criminal background clearances.
- Valid driver license.
- CPR/First Aid/BLS certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to travel and work in an office environment.
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds or less.
- Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull, bend multiple times a day.
- Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
